2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe
As the brand’s first plug-in hybrid, the 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe proves not only that it’s possible to rely on a hybrid powertrain, but also that this Jeep Wrangler is the most powerful and economical Jeep Wrangler ever produced. With 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque, the Wrangler 4xe can tow up to 1,588 kg, or 3,500 lb.
2021 Jeep Wrangler
Equipped with the 3.6-litre V6 engine and the 2.0-litre 4-cylinder engine for the 2-door versions, the 2021 Jeep Wrangler’s towing capacity is 907 kg or 2,000 lb. As for Unlimited versions with the 3.6-litre V6 engine producing 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, they have a towing capacity that climbs to 1,588 kg, namely 3,501 lb.
2021 Jeep Renegade
Smaller than the Wrangler, the 2021 Jeep Renegade is offered in 6 variants: Sport, Jeepster, North, 80th Anniversary Edition, Islander and Trailhawk. With the exception of the 80th Anniversary Edition, which features the 4-cylinder Turbo engine, all models are powered by the 2.4-litre Tigershark MultiAir 4-cylinder engine with 180 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission. However, towing is not recommended with the Renegade.
2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee
The 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee towing capacity reaches 2,818 kg or 6,213 lb when equipped with the 295-horsepower, 3.6-litre V6 engine. With the 360-horsepower, 5.7-litre V8 engine, the towing capacity increases to 3,300 kg or 7,275 lb. And with the 6.4-litre V8 engine of 475 horsepower and the supercharged 6.2-litre V8 with 707 horsepower, you’ll be able to tow up to 3,265 kg (7,198 lb).
2021 Jeep Cherokee
Three engines are available aboard the 2021 Jeep Cherokee, starting with the 3.2-litre Pentastar V6, the 2.4-litre Tigershark MultiAir and the 4-cylinder Turbo engine, all of which give you a towing capacity of 907 kg or 2,000 lb.
2021 Jeep Compass
The 2021 Jeep Compass is powered by a single engine, a 2.4-litre MultiAir 4-cylinder with 180 horsepower for 175 lb-ft of torque, which will allow you to tow up to 1,001 lb-ft, i.e. 454 kg.
2021 Jeep Gladiator
This Jeep truck is available in 3 versions, but only one engine propels them: the 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 with 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. The Sport version offers you a towing capacity of 3,470 kg, or 7,650 lb with the tow package, the Overland model offers 2,721 kg or 5,999 lb capacity, and the Rubicon raises those figures to 3,175 kg, or 7,000 lb.
