The first major update – and it’s a significant one – is the replacement of the 5.7-liter V8 with powerful 6-cylinder Hurricane engines, which we will describe in more detail shortly.

Although the 2025 RAM 1500 no longer offers the 395 hp 5.7-liter V8, the turbocharged engines provide superior power. Additionally, the RAM 1500 REV will offer 654 hp/620 lb-ft.
